Unitor

Island Equipment Company is the only authorized facility on Guam by Unitor to fill and service Unitor branded compressed gas cylinders of oxygen, acetylene, argon, compressed air, gold gas, nitrogen, CO2, and 125 lbs. refrigerant 22.

In addition to the gases, we are also the authorized distributor for Unitor. Unitor offers quality products from leading manufacturers around the world. Each product is tested extensively to ensure that it will perform reliably in the marine environment. The product offer comprises over 10,000 products for use aboard commercial vessels, classified by area of use:

-Maintenance and repair equipment
-Full range of marine gases and a world-wide gas cylinder

-Marine refrigerants, compressors and spare parts

Our staff is also trained to handle the FRS (Fire Rescue and Safety) services of Unitor. FRS on a ship is mainly to inspect, test and certify the ship's fire, rescue and safety equipments. US Coast Guard requires an annual inspection and certification for such equipments to include the portable and systems fire fighting equipments, breathing and escape apparatus, smoke and fire alarm system and discharge piping and manifold. Inspection requirements vary on the Flag and Classification Society of the ship.
